Unattended operation of weighing systems

Unattended operation on a weighing system is controlled by software. The user interface is a keyboard terminal with a contactless smart card reader installed on the pillar. Chip cards are used to uniquely identify weighed vehicles and load. The type of load on the vehicle is selected by the driver of the vehicle using the keypad on the terminal. The driver can identify himself by a personal number or a personal chip card. For the correct functioning of the system is necessary the software for commercial weighing installed on the weighing PC, which is already in the basic version ready for processing data from chip cards.

The weighing system can be equipped with up to four video cameras for monitoring the movement of weighed vehicles. It is usually two video cameras in each direction of travel, which capture the part of the front of the vehicle with the number plate and the load on the vehicle.

Images can be viewed and archived directly on the weighbridge’s control computer or sent to a server on the corporate network.

The software for commercial weighing is a part of each weighbridge. It can differ in a type of weighbridge or in client’s requirements.

The weighing system provides real-time information to  user with current weight of the vehicle, all data on their operation, including statistics, trends and other data about weighing. In addition, comfort software enables not only clear records of vehicles, materials, carriers but also the generation of invoices, balances and the export of data to the company's related information systems. Direct control of weighbridge from a computer using software for commercial weighing brings to user many advantages in comparison with basic static weighbridge equipped with only a weight indicator.
